Psychologist Veteran Evaluations

In this role, you will conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations—structured, objective assessments that assist the VA in determining disability benefits. This is a non-treatment, non-therapeutic position focused strictly on evaluation and documentation, offering a strong work-life balance and meaningful impact. Responsibilities: Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) psychological evaluations for Veterans Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized assessment tools Gather relevant history through focused, objective interviews Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports in VA-required formats Provide factual, unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes Complete and submit documentation within required timeframes Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and clinical care (no therapy or treatment) Adhere to all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards Required Qualifications: PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program (Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology) Active Psychologist license Strong report-writing and documentation skills Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols Preferred Qualifications Preferred Prior experience conducting evaluations (VA, forensic, or similar) A plus if Familiarity with DBQs A plus if Experience working with Veteran populations Strong organizational and time management skills Compensation & Structure: 1099 Independent Contractor position $125 – $210 per evaluation Flexible scheduling Telehealth and in-person opportunities available Benefits Flexible schedule to support work-life balance Opportunity to supplement income with structured, predictable work Access to mentorship, operational support, and streamlined processes Meaningful work supporting Veterans Ideal Candidate: Detail-oriented and efficient Comfortable with structured, fact-based evaluations Able to maintain objectivity and neutrality Strong time management and documentation skills Licensure Required Licensed Clinical Psychologist
